Blast Suppers is monthly potluck for the Austin creative community. An evolving effort and hosted at a different arts location every month, it was started in March 2022 by Jacqueline Overby & Courtney Peterson. The goal of these gatherings is to provide a regular open community event for the art scene where creatives can get together and connect over a shared meal.

 

  Blast Suppers is interested in the psychological benefits associated with sharing meals. It is an integral part to community building, generates trust and increases morale and productivity. This monthly potluck aims to provide a regular gathering point where the Austin creative community can come together and rebuild the networks of support that we have lost throughout the pandemic.
